Alan Richard Michaels was born on November 12, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York. Michael is an American television sportscaster and works for NBC Sports after he spent nearly three decades from 1976 to 2006) with ABC Sports. Michaels is known for his many years of calling play-by-play of National Football League games.
