Joseph Gordon-Levitt's bromance with his co-star is one of the best things about the film, and the actor shared a rare photo of the cast to mark its release anniversary.

10 Things I Hate About You Released On March 31, 1999

Joseph Gordon-Levitt posted a picture of the film's leading cast members to Twitter, celebrating 20 years since 10 Things I Hate About You released.

The actor played the lovable Cameron James in the film, alongside Heath Ledger's Patrick Verona, Julia Stiles' Kat Stratford and Larisa Oleynik's Bianca Stratford. The photo sees the actors against the Padua High School background, which they attended in the iconic film.

Gordon-Levitt shared in the caption, "'10 Things I Hate About You' came out today, March 31st, back in 1999."

"I'll never forget that summer, making that movie with such wonderful people. The best of times."

The Inception actor added, "Still can't believe it was over 20 years ago."

The movie's fans were excited about the actor's tribute, and shared their love for the film.

The film followed the Stratford sisters; the anti-social, rebellious Kat and the popular Bianca; who wants to date (and live the life of a normal teenager) but is forbidden to, unless her sister does. In an attempt to win her over, Cameron; her friend from high-school sets up a plan, seeking Patrick's help to charm Kat.
