Not all Married At First Sight couples start off the show with fireworks. That was definitely true for Karen and Miles, who struggled to connect in the first weeks following their wedding.

Most pairings on the show have no idea who they’re going to be matched with until they are at the altar. Nonetheless, Karen managed to get a glimpse of Miles’s social media before she made it down the aisle. And she did not like what she saw. At the time, the not-so-blushing bride revealed that her hubby-to-be was so not her type. Ouch.

These days, however, the couple is happy and healthy. Not only are they still together, but they are also filming a new season on Couples Cam. Here’s what Miles has to say about their marriage now:

A New Phase For Karen And Miles

The blind love wedding phase of Karen and Miles’s love story is officially over. The pair said “yes” on Decision Day and moved on to the happily married life that we see on their Instagrams.

However, most fans of the duo don’t have any idea what that wedded bliss could possibly look like on a day-to-day basis. After all, most of what we saw on Married At First Sight was the couple “growing into” each other. And even Miles has hinted that the show didn’t put their full relationship on air. As he mentioned in an open letter to Karen, “the world will never all that we have been through.”

So, what does this mean in terms of our  Couples Cam expectations?

In an exclusive interview with us here at TheThings, Miles revealed that this new season will be “totally different” from the last. “Hopefully you will see a lot more of our personalities and a lot more authentic version of who we are,” he explained.

But what has changed from the first time around? According to Miles, a lot of the difference has to do with the level of ease that the two have both in front of a camera and with each other.

“Both of us are a lot more comfortable in front of the camera,” Miles revealed, before humorously adding, “and behind it!”

As for their marriage, it is one that, “We are much more settled into.”

Married At First Sight: Couples Cam, produced by Kinetic Content, airs at 8 pm on Lifetime every Thursday.
