CENTRE CO, Pa (WJAC) — The Spring Township Police Department welcomed a new Chief of Police on Monday.
Chief Adam Salyards has nearly 20 years of law enforcement experience, having previously served as a community relations officer and then as a sergeant with the State College Police Department.
"Chief Salyards values a close relationship with the community and looks forward to continuing to build a stronger relationship with the residents of Spring Township," Spring Township police said in a Facebook post.
Chief Salyards was sworn in on Monday by Magisterial District Judges Thomas Jordan and Kelley Gillette-Walker.
